Along with the producers of Top Chef Marcel helped to fund the building of several orphanages in Haiti after the hurricanes destroyed villages and displaced so many children.

Marcel has been a champion for Share our Strength for over two decades and has helped to end child hunger in the US by hosting and participating in dozens of charity events.

CASA YOUTH SHELTER

Marcel spends time on the side teaching children how to cook at Casa Youth Shelter which serves and nurtures youth in crisis with shelter, counseling, and support services, empowering them to come through their crisis with increased confidence, stability, and tools for continued growth.

LA FOOD BANK

Chef Marcel has dedicated his time to raise money for the LA food Bank during several events as well as donated products from his restaurants to feed the homeless in LA.

PANCAN

After mentor and World renowned Chef of the century, Joel Robuchon, passed from Pancreatic cancer, Marcel began hosting dinners to raise money to help fight pancreatic cancer.
